A multi storey steel building at Kozhichena, Malappuram, Kerala, built from salvaged steel work exploring the possibilities of reusing structural steel work thereby helping to a great extent of material conservation. We investigated the available material in the form of reclaimed structural steel work, and incorporated it in to the design of the new building with different functionality. A specific quality protocol was followed to ensure the quality of reclaimed workmanship.
